Why have this experience?
Soon arrived to the "Tre Pini" farm, Rocco will welcome you into his world characterized by expanses of vineyards, olive groves and orchards surrounded by vegetation of the Alta Murgia National Park. You will be led to the discovery of the olive groves, through a short walk, and be involved in the harvest of the olives with the traditional method that has its roots in times of our grandparents. This will allow you to learn how to make one of the most valuable foods of the Mediterranean diet, rich in history and culture that is the extra virgin olive oil.
The olives will be taken later at the oil mill, where you will have the opportunity to attend the magical moment of the oil processing. A moment full of scents that will made an impression on the memory. Together we will learn to taste the freshly pressed oil: bitter, spicy, fruity and many others will no longer be a mystery, but will allow you to understand the quality of the oil and the importance of pairing with food. The freshly pressed oil tasting with the warm bread is really unforgettable!
The day will be spaced out with moments of tasting of typical dishes of Murgia, cooked by the female cook of the farm. The hours spent in contact with nature will allow you to live an experience far from the sounds and rhythms of big cities.
