In 1988 the Plantamura family registered its farm in the regional list of farm-based holiday centres, the twenty-fourth Agriturismo (farmbased holiday centres) in Puglia. Since then, the Plantamura family has sought to rediscover tastes and smells of traditional food and the enchanting area in which the farm is situated.
The farm is equipped with every comfort for a peaceful stay. Following the local tradition, lunch and dinner, completely inspired by typical farmhouse cuisine, are prepared using traditional wood oven and barbecue cookers: carn’ ca cipodd’ (lamb chop with broiled onions), grilled lamb and goat, salsiccia (beef and lamb sausage), ghimiridd’ (broiled roll of lamb or goat’s entrails with parsley), and many other delicious dishes of the Mediterranean and Pugliese cuisine. It could be compared with a churrasquería (traditional south American barbecue stall).
The farm has the perfect area to spend unforgettable evenings and to taste delightful dishes. The restaurant has two rooms equipped with fireplaces, best for the winter season, and facilities for disabled people.
Thanks to amount of space available and to many local features, we are able to offer different educational activities to our guests, such as, environmental, food and rural education, and recreational activities, such as, a playing area for kids, trekking, horse riding, mountain biking (mountain bikes are available to guests). In this way, hosts can discover the Alta Murgia national park enjoying the colourful Barese Murgia. Because of its location, the farm is close to many cities of historical and touristic importance, as well as, grottoes, trulli (typical local houses, with an original conical roof), gravine (typical karstic morphology of Murgia, produced by the chemical effect of the rain water on limestone), castles, churches and more.

The Tre Pini farm offers wine tourist tours, the experience of being in the vineyards during the grape harvest in September, wine cellar visits and, wine and food tasting.
